Terms of Service

1) Agreement

These Terms are a contract between Merra Ai Ltd ("Merra", "we", "us") and you, the individual user ("you", "User"). By creating an account, using our platform, or purchasing interview credits, you agree to these Terms.

2) The Service

Merra Practice provides AI-powered mock interview practice for individuals preparing for job interviews. The service includes conversational AI interviews, video recordings, transcripts, and detailed feedback to help you improve your interview skills. Features may evolve; material changes will be communicated in-product or by email.

3) Accounts

• You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service.
• Each account is for personal, individual use only.

4) Pricing, Credits & Payments

• New users receive 1 free interview credit upon registration.
• Additional credits can be purchased as one-time payments (not subscriptions).
• Credits do not expire and are non-transferable.
• All prices are in GBP (£) and exclude applicable taxes.
• All purchases are final. Refunds are provided only at our discretion or as required by law.
• Payments are processed securely via Stripe. We do not store your card details.

5) Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful, harmful, or deceptive purpose.
• Attempt to probe, scrape, reverse-engineer, or disrupt the platform.
• Share your account or credentials with others.
• Record, redistribute, or commercially exploit interview content beyond personal use.
• Use the Service to generate misleading representations of your qualifications.

We may suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these terms.

6) Your Content & Data

• You own your data. Your interview recordings, transcripts, and results belong to you.
• You grant us a limited licence to process your data to deliver the Service (e.g., AI evaluation, storage, playback).
• We do not use your interview recordings to train AI models without explicit consent.
• We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

7) AI-Generated Feedback

Feedback, scores, and coaching suggestions are generated by AI and are advisory only. They are designed to help you practise and improve, but do not guarantee interview success or employment outcomes. Merra is not a career advisory service and does not provide professional career counselling.

8) Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS". WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT FEEDBACK WILL LEAD TO ANY PARTICULAR OUTCOME.

9) Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law: (a) Merra is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages; and (b) our total liability in any 12-month period is limited to the total fees you have paid to Merra in that period.

10) Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account for breach of these Terms. Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Unused credits are non-refundable upon account deletion.

11) Governing Law & Venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales. The courts of London have exclusive jurisdiction.

12) Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-product notification. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
